Looks mint, we'll definitely have to get up there once is done. Does anyone know when it's expected to be finished?

Has anyone heard anymore on Peel Park?

Called off again tonight to have a look while I was passing. It's not a whole lot further on tbh :( All the berms have now been tarmaced and the general shape of the track is done, still no top layer on it though yet. There are still some really wet patches between the jumps so that might be whats holding them up but I don't think it's gonna dry out much more than this.
Some of the locals have been riding the track by the look of it as there are big ruts all over the jumps and some of the lips where the tarmac meets the dirt have been stepped with plywood. Definately not rideable properly yet though. :(
Hopefully soon...............................................................

Ive heard that there is some sort of dispute between council Jeremy BC and contractor (maybe wrong) regarding the start hill and everything has been put on hold until its been resolved.

Braford should be all but done but BC wont sign off on the track as they say it doesnt meet spec so no regional or national races can be held there.
BC signed off on the plans for the track and it has been built to plan however they are not happy with the way the pro line merges back into the main line. Also been told that BC and the contractor dont see eye to eye after a fal out regarding the track built in Manchester (could just be a rumour)

It's Finished!!!!! (Ish)

Went up and had a few quick laps on Sunday, it rides well and seems to flow better than the old one, even though it's not packed down really well yet.
There were a few puddles dotted around the track and part of the concrete base for the start ramp isn't cast yet but it's definately well worth a winter session! :D
